BMW Team Brasil at the start of both Blancpain Sprint and Endurance Series

BMW Team Brasil will race in the seven events of the Sprint and the five races of the Endurance Series. The Brazilian squad is aiming to be a contender for both race wins and overall titles.

Twelve rounds of the Blancpain GT Series, both in Sprint and Endurance: that is the program for BMW Team Brasil in 2015. The BMW squad, taking several podium finishes in the 2014 Blancpain Sprint Series, will field two Z4 GT3. Cacà Bueno, Sergio Jimenez and Valdeno Brito are already confirmed in the BMW Z4 # 0 and # 77, the complete line-up will be announced shortly.

In the BMW Z4 # 0, Cacá Bueno and Sérgio Jimenez maintain the successful partnership from 2014, which resulted in four podiums. In the coming days, the team will announce the teammate of the duo in the Blancpain Endurance Series.

In the BMW Z4 # 77, Valdeno Brito - who participated in two races last year, showing great performance - is guaranteed. The team is still negotiating the other two seats.

Antonio Hermann (team manager BMW Team Brasil): “We will try and fight for the title in 2015. We are on par with the other cars and considering the great drivers we have, I firmly believe that we will be one of the best teams in the Series.

Cacà Bueno (Driver BMW Z4 #0): "Racing in both Sprint and Endurance Series is a natural development of the team. 2013 was our first year, learning the tracks and car. In 2014, we already did a great job. Although we missed one round,  Sergio and I were sixth in the final standings and we took several podium finishes.  Now we are ready to take on an even greater challenge. We have more experience with the tracks, we know our opponents better, so I am pretty excited. Especially for the long races, where our car should have a better chance to fight for the win."

Valdeno Brito (Driver BMW Z4 #77): "I am very happy the team asked me to drive for them . Since the two races I did last year, the desire to participate in the Series only increased. I dream of doing long races like the Total 24 Hours of Spa, one of the more important races in the world. To be able to do this with a Brazilian team really makes me very excited and happy."
