ANSA MOTORSPORTS IS LOOKING FOR A DRIVER -  2016 INTERCONTINENTAL GT CHALLENGE – SIX HOURS OF THE AMERICAS

 

ANSA Motorsports wishes to field one KTM X-Bow GT4 (GT4 class) and a Porsche GT3 Cup model 991 (GT-Cup class) in the event and is looking for a driver. 

About ANSA Motorsports:
Ansa won its first major championship in 2012. Winning its first IMSA Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA Team Championship Gold Cup Class and Driver Championship title, with driver Angel Benitez Jr., put the team on the racing map. The following seasons, ANSA Motorsports continued to win races and championships. ANSA won, the 2013 IMSA Cooper Tires Prototype Lites Championship Class L2 in its debut year. In 2014, ANSA Motorsports competed in multiple racing series, including the IMSA Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA by Yokohama, the Porsche GT3 Cup Canada series, and the IMSA Cooper Tires Prototype Lites Powered by Mazda Championship. That year, ANSA collected another Team and Driver Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA Championship (Gold Cup class) with driver Patrick Otto Madsen. 2015 marked ANSA Motorsports’ debut in the Pirelli World Challenge. Following a successful season where the team and driver won their first series race and scored multiple podiums in the GT-Cup class with ANSA’s 2015 Porsche, ANSA Motorsports finished 3rd in the Team and Driver Championship and Trefethen won the 2015 GT-Cup Rookie of the Year Award.

ANSA Motorsports wishes to field one KTM X-Bow GT4 (GT4 class) and a Porsche GT3 Cup model 991 (GT-Cup class) in the event. This opportunity gives you a chance to compete in the inaugural Intercontinental Challenge and race against some of the best endurance racers in the world during a six- hour event giving you plenty of driving time and excitement! The deadline to enter our cars is February 12. Drivers must have an International Grade C license.

PORSCHE GT-CUP CLASS OPTION: ANSA motorsports will enter one 2015 Porsche GT3 Cup model 991 to compete in the Six Hours of the Americas as part of the 2016 Intercontinental GT Challenge Championship. The package will then cost $60,000 ($20,000 per driver). Insurance is mandatory and must be purchased by driver through ANSA with a $7,500 premium for the car ($2,500 per driver) for the event and a $35,000 deductible. Each driver will receive a car pass and a driver credential. Total budget per driver: $22,500.

KTM X-BOW GT4 (GT4 CLASS) OPTION: ANSA motorsports will enter one 2016 KTM X-Bow GT4 to compete in the Six Hours of the Americas as part of the 2016 Intercontinental GT Challenge Championship. The package will then cost $50,000 ($17,000 per driver). Insurance is mandatory and must be purchased by driver through ANSA with a $5,000 premium for the car ($1,660 per driver) for the event and a $20,000 deductible. Each driver will receive a car pass and a driver credential. Total budget per driver: $18,660.

Driver package includes:  Event entry fee.  Major signage space (1/3 per driver) available on the entire race car.  Pirelli tires needed for the event and Race Fuel.  Professional crew with car chief and engineering/data engineer.  Event promotion on social media, PR announcement, event preview/review press releases.  Marketing and public relations services.

Not included: Travel and accommodations, racing suits & other equipment, helmet, personal insurance, 2016 FIA license, sponsor vinyls.

A promoter one hour test session is scheduled only for bronze drivers on Thursday, March 4 at 4:00 p.m.
