The races of the Blancpain GT Series, Lamborghini Blancpain SuperTrofeo, Formula Renault 2.0 NEC and SEAT Leon Eurocup will give you hours of racing spectacle all during the weekend, but there is plenty of entertainment off track as well!
For the first time in history, spectators for the Blancpain GT Series race in Silverstone will be able to follow the races on two giant screens. There will be one opposite the main grandstand and one at Copse Runway. To make it easier to see which cars are fighting which - we know that is not always to do so during endurance races - all cars of the Blancpain GT Series will have the Lumirank-system fitted in a top corner of the windscreen. The numbers on the Lumirank are colour-coded and show the position the car is in, in its class.
The Entertainment Village at Copse Runway is certainly worth a visit as well. It has a spectacular Laser Arena, a climbing wall for four persons, and if ever you were jealous you could not join your little ones on the bouncy castle, well, there will be a bouncy castle for adults here as well! The Zorbs area is reserved for children, and there obviously is a bouncy castle for them too, together with several slides.
You can also admire the artists in the mountainbike trial arena, or the free runners doing breath-taking acrobatics in this 400 m² zone in which they perform the most spectacular stunts. Don't try this at home!
If you like a more sedate pace you can admire the numerous displays organised by different Car Clubs, with some of the most beautiful machinery that has graced our roads.
If you're afraid you might miss something that is happening on the track while you are strolling through the entertainment area, there is no reason to worry! For you can download the official Blancpain GT Series app on your smartphone, so you can have live timing and live streaming in your back pocket.
