BMW Team Italia’s Max Koebolt topped the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup Bronze Test times at Silverstone this morning, although there was very little to choose between the leading runners.
Just six of the session’s 60 minutes remained when the Dutch driver’s M6 GT3 vaulted to the top of the standings with a time of 2m01.599s. That was exactly one tenth quicker than Pro-Am championship leader Michal Broniszewski whose Kessel Racing Ferrari had earlier deposed Devon Modell’s Oman Racing Aston Martin V12 Vantage by a similar margin.
Ferraris also finished fourth and fifth in the hands of David Perel and Alexander Mattschull, while Attempto Racing’s Louis Machiels was the first of the Lamborghini Huracan contingent in sixth.
