SRO Motorsport Group donates 2016 fines to charity

During the racing season of the 2016 Blancpain GT Series, Total 24 Hours of Spa and GT4 European Series the drivers and teams were fined a total sum of 32,473 euro. In accordance with the Sporting Regulations that sum was placed in the SRO Motorsports Fund, in order to serve as a prize fund or to be presented to a charity. After consulting with all parties involved it was decided that the money would be donated to these organisations.

Stichting Daniel den Hoed
The Dutch Stichting Daniel den Hoed collects funds to increase scientific research in the Erasmus MC Kanker Instituut in Rotterdam. The goal of the foundation is to provide each patient with a unique personal treatment, based on the most modern and recent scientific results.
