After the hour long pre-qualifying session the timesheets were again topped by the #63 Grasser Racing Team Lamborghini of Mirko Bortolotti. This time the Italian preceded the #333 Rinaldi Racing Ferrari of Norbert Siedler, which was also the fastest of the Pro-Am cars.
In third was the #9 Bentley Team ABT Continental GT3, with South-African Jordan Pepper at the wheel. A remarkable performance, since both team and driver are making their Blancpain GT Series debut. With the #75 ISR Audi and the #23 Motul Team RJN Nissan GT-R in fourth and fifth there were five different manufacturers in the top-5. The fastest of the Am Cup cars was again the #888 Kessel Racing Ferrari, in 28th overall, with David Perel at the wheel.
The session was dry, although the track was damp in some places. For the 75-minute qualifying session, starting at 20.10 CEST, the same weather conditions are expected, although a rain spot or two would be possible.
